I was first introduced by Hourglass by some friendly girls at my local Mecca Cosmetica store. I can spend hours (and hundreds and of dollars) in there! My first Hourglass product was the veil mineral primer. As I have a tendency to get quite oily in the T-zone, this oil free product keeps me matte all day under my Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid and powder foundation. The product has a broad spectrum SPF 15, is paraben free, fragrence free, nanoparticle free, gluten free, synthetic dye free, sulfate free, phthalate free, and for all you vegans out there, VEGAN!! It is absolutely fantastic, easy to apply, feels so velvety and smooth on the skin, and it neutralises redness in skin. I would definitely recommend this product if you are prone to oily skin!
My next product I bought was the opaque rouge. It is a long-lasting liquid lipstick; the package says it has 14 hour wear! It has a matte finish. What is fantastic about this product is that it doesn't dry out your lips, and it really is long lasting! I've worn it out, had food and drink, and come home and slept in it, and the next morning it is still intact! It takes an oil-based remover to fully get rid of colour from your lips. I have this in two different colours: riviera (bright orange) and empress (dark berry). Absolutely fantastic colours, and I always get lovely compliments from people whenever I wear them :) It is easy to apply, and absolutely no need for reapplication when you're out (unless you've eaten oily/greasy foods).
