Update: hectic few weeks...

Oh my. I am so bad at blogging. But it's not my fault!! Sometimes, the most interesting thing to happen to me all week is that I actually went home and studied :/ And now I'm in the middle of SWOTVAC...and once again, it's the SWOTVAC from hell! Red wine, pringles, and Mr Alex Turner and the gang are getting me through the week!

Actually, to be honest, the most exciting thing this week for me was dissecting a penis. Yep. I held a severed penis in my hand. Don't worry, the penis was from a dead body, and we needed to do it for anatomy dissection. But still! It was all black and shrivelled *shudder*. YUCK!

NO I LIE THE MOST EXCITING THING THIS WEEK WAS REGO FOR CONVENTION!!!!! AMSA convention is like the most amazing social and academic event for medical students in Australia. 6 nights of wild parties, and 4 days of informative academic programs. And there's a sports day and a gala ball! But there are only around 1000 spots, so the competition to get rego is fierce. The 2014 convention is in Adelaide, and I'm on the sports day subcommittee, so I got guaranteed rego 3 weeks ago. But everyone else registered on tuesday night. And it was intense. Like super super intense, and everyone was so high strung nervous and anxious. But everyone from Flinders who went for rego got it!! And we have the most fantastic group of people going, and I'm just so so so so so so excited!
