So much joy!

I met the one of my obsessions and loves of my life on Thursday night. I had seen him once before in February, but this was a millions times better because it was intimate, and I was less than a metre away from him for an hour, and got into gaze into his eyes for the same amount of time as he serenaded me.

I am talking about James Keogh aka Vance Joy, one of the most talented and gorgeous music talents in Australia. This guy has it all. He is charismatic, funny, tells a good anecdote, has mad guitar skills, writes sentimental lyrics, and a voice that makes me never want to listen to any other artist ever again.

Update: hectic few weeks...

Oh my. I am so bad at blogging. But it's not my fault!! Sometimes, the most interesting thing to happen to me all week is that I actually went home and studied :/ And now I'm in the middle of SWOTVAC...and once again, it's the SWOTVAC from hell! Red wine, pringles, and Mr Alex Turner and the gang are getting me through the week!

today i wore...a louis tomlinson outfit!

Today at uni I was totally repping a Louis Tomlinson outfit from 2012-early 2013. It was maroon skinny jeans with a stripy top. I also wore a parka, because it was quite cool in the morning, and some awesome tan leather boots that I love love love!

Laneway 2014

Friday has to be one of the best days of my life. OF MY LIFE! It was my second Laneway experience, and I had no idea how it was going to top last year. However, it definitely did. The line-up was amazing, the company I had was fantastic, and the atmosphere at Hart's Mill in Port Adelaide was absolutely phenomenal.

I randomly stumbled upon this blog/experiment last night, and found it so very intriguing and captivating, that in a fit of insomnia, I decided to read all 40 days worth of entries. The blog had me yearning for a relationship, but also just to feel close to someone of the opposite sex, whether in a romantic, emotional, or physical way.

40 days of dating is an experiment started by two friends, Jessie Walsh and Tim Goodman. Both were single at the same time, and having very different dating histories, decided to document the trials and tribulations of dating each other for 40 days.

I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR FAR TOO LONG!!!!!! Hello 2014

I've been away, busy with being not busy. That's a lie, I did have a work and do a few "nursing attachment" shifts at the hospital for my degree. Did you hear about the Adelaide heat wave? 46 degrees Celsius on one of the days?! Yeah, I was in Adelaide for that time. It was absolutely awful! I think I'm still recovering from it a few weeks on. And now, I'm back at uni! Sad times, but now I'm officially a second year post-graduate medical student! Road to doctor-ing is well a truly being used.
